Monsanto creates “Stewardship of its Technology” programs and the US consumers have to pay the price for Monsanto police to enforce Monsanto Law. US farmers who get caught twice for not complying with Monsanto’s refuge system will be blacklisted and never allowed to plant Monsanto seeds again. Can you think of anything worse, because according to what they told Judge White, there are no others seeds available.
Quite frankly I think Monsanto has become a forked tongue. sorry sight.

My next comments will be on John Grisham , whom, I believe that I have read every single book, but will admit that I wait for the paper back.

There are only two commercially grown genetically modified food crops. Maize(corn) and Soya. Of these there are those that contain the Bt gene which constantly exudes a crystal toxin which kills insect larvae and a gene which makes the plan resistant to the companies brand of herbicide.
Plenty of drought-and flood-resistant traditional crop varieties already exist and simply need to be brought back to market, supporters of traditional farming say.

Global Food Security Act, which increases desperately needed funding for agricultural research in the developing world. Unfortunately, the bill also requires investment in genetically engineered crops favored by a handful of companies like Monsanto.
Farmers and governments in the developing world have the right to make their own choices about genetically engineered crops. Food aid and development assistance should never be pre-conditioned on accepting unwanted and ineffective genetically engineered crops.

The IAASDT was sponsored by the FAO. It was adopted on Johannesburg in 2009. The only significant dissenting parties to the report were Monsanto and the United States who walked out when priority was not given to their handful of industry experts who believed that large scale industrial planting of GM crops was the answer to climate change.. It is clear that these same forces have now hijacked the FAO and added insult to injury by holding their conference in Mexico

Intensive crop production (often based on monocultures and high productivity)
depends greatly on external inputs such as mineral fertilizers and pesticides.
Sustainable agricultural practices, such as organic agriculture, strongly reduce the
reliance on external inputs by:
° recycling wastes as nutrient source,
° using nitrogen-fixing plants,
° improving cropping systems and landscapes,
° avoiding synthetic pesticides,
° integrating crops and animals into a single farm production sector and including grass
clover leys for fodder production, while avoiding purchase of feed concentrates.

The working document provides proposals for policies and actions to eradicate hunger and malnutrition.
It is based on the experiences and political work of social movements, non governmental organisations
(NGOs) and others from all over the world during past decades and currently. It is based largely on the
food sovereignty framework that embraces the human right to adequate food.
These policies and actions have been prepared to inform governments, institutions and others, who are
committed to eradicating hunger and malnutrition. They may also be helpful in discussions on these key
issues within and between governments, institutions, social movements and NGOs. And they could be
used by social movements, organisations and individuals in all regions as an input to their own proposals
at local, national, regional and global levels.
